At least eight people died after floods hit the northeast province of Artvin and more rain is expected.

At least eight people have been killed and one person is still missing after floods and landslides struck the northeast of Turkey on Monday.

Officials say that the province of Artvin saw the heaviest rainfall in 50 years, with four months of rainfall falling in just six hours.
