Hackers are said to have released online the personal details of more than a million users of a Canadian dating website promoting infidelity.

The alleged leak has been reported by the technology magazine Wired.

Last month a group calling itself the “Impact Team” had threatened to publish the details of s 37 million AshleyMadison customers.

The website’s owners Avid Life Media have reportedly denounced what they call an illegal act against users.
