Severe flooding in northeast Peru

Torrential rain caused heavy flooding in northeastern Peru.

The city of Iquitos was left inundated on Friday, but there were no reports of deaths or injuries.

Homes, shops and other businesses were all affected, with most transport brought to a standstill apart from the city’s motorbike taxis.
