Thomas Tuchel oversaw his first training session as Borussia Dortmund coach on Tuesday as the Bundesliga title challengers got back to business.
Tuchel takes over from Juergen Klopp, who left the club after seven years at the helm which delivered two Bundesliga titles and a Champions League final appearance.
Last season however wasn’t so impressive as the club ended the domestic league campaign in seventh position.
The first pre-season test for Tuchel and his men will be a friendly against VfL Rhede on Friday although the main objective will be to start the season on a bruight note.
Their Bundesliga season gets under way against Borussia Monchengladbach on the August 15 a week after they begin their German Cup campaign against third division Chemnitzer FC.
