Hiddink steps down as The Netherlands coach

The Dutch football association announced on Monday that Guus Hiddink has stepped down from his role as coach of the national side.
68-year old Hiddink replaced Louis van Gaal last year following the side’s third place finish at the World Cup.
But since he took over the reins for a second stint the Netherlands have won just five out of 10 international matches and are struggling to qualify for the 2016 European Cup.
Assistant Danny Blind will step up to the helm as Hiddink’s replacement
