The US Supreme Court has ruled in favour of a Muslim woman who was denied a job because she was wearing a head scarf for religious reasons.

Samantha Elauf sued Abercrombie and Fitch clothing store after being denied employment in 2008.

She was reportedly refused the job because the scarf violated the company’s “look policy.”
