Three times tournament winner Olympiakos are once again in the final of Basketball’s Euroleague.

The Greeks were trailing CSKA Moscow in the final four until former Houston Rocket Vassilis Spanoulis scored 11 fourth quarter points to guide Olympiakos to a nail-biting 70-68 win.

The Greeks will meet Real Madrid on Sunday after the side from the Spanish capital prevailed against final four opponents Fenerbahce Ulker.

Despite the fervor of the Turkish fans cramming the Madrid venue the home side turned up the heat in the first half leading 55-35 at half-time.

The deficit proved too much for the Turks, despite an excellent performance by Jan Vesely.

Real Madrid with the first half damage done then cruised to victory 96-87 to set up Sunday’s final date with Olympiakos.
