A fire broke out in a building in the heart of Paris’ business district on Wednesday morning, although it’s reported “in French media”: http://lci.tf1.fr/france/faits-divers/paris-une-tour-de-la-defense-victime-d-un-incendie-8581048.html firefighters have managed to control the situation and no-one was injured.
Smoke was seen billowing from the roof of the Coeur Défense building in the La Défense district in the west of the French capital. The top floors of the 40-storey building were evacuated.
The fire started on the roof, in an air conditioning unit, and was accidental, investigators say.
