Cristiano Ronaldo has become the all-time leading goalscorer in European competitions after scoring twice in Real Madrid’s Champions League tie with Schalke at the Bernabeu.
The game provided a goal feast as Shalke attempted to overhaul a two goal deficit.
They came within a whisker winning 4-3. Real go through after
their efforts in Germany.
In Portugal Porto stormed into the quarter-finals with a 4-0 thumping of Swiss side Basel, after the first-leg ended 1-1.
