After weeks of speculation, Davis Love III has been confirmed as the next US Ryder Cup captain.

The PGA of America announced on Wednesday that the 50-year-old would take the role for the second time and unveiled an 11-man task force made up of PGA executives, former captains and current players including Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.
The next Ryder Cup will be held at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota in September 2016.
