Dubai is the venue of the Astana Pro team’s official presentation and the location chosen by Vincenzo Nibali to start the season in which he will be defending his Tour de France title.
The French race will be as popular as always and, as in 2014 the first days of the competition could be crucial in determining the final result.
Vincenzo Nibali : “The Tour de France is getting closer. The route is similar to last year’s, and there are a lot of difficult stages already in the first part of the competition. We will have the cobbles stage again, so it’s going to be a really demanding tour.”
Experienced riders such as Lars Boom and Rein Taaramae, along with Fabio Aru and Alexey Lutsenko will strengthen the Kazakh team’s dream of holding a prominent position in the peloton.
