A manhunt was launched after four jewellery thieves robbed Berlin’s famous KaDeWe department store.

They reportedly used pepper spray to take down a security guard, before smashing display cases and running away with their spoils.
A police spokesperson was unable to confirm how much jewellery had been stolen.
Several customers were treated for the after-effects of pepper spray.
