According to the constitution the boy, named Jacques will be first in-line to the throne even though he arrived two minutes after his sister Gabriella.
All three are said to be doing well.
The father is Prince Albert II, son of the late Hollywood actress, Grace Kelly.
He already has two other children but as they were born outside marriage they are excluded from the throne.
