Czech president pelted and booed during Velvet Revolution anniversary speech

Hundreds of protesters held red cards, booed and threw objects at Czech President Milos Zeman during his speech marking the 25th anniversary of the end of the communist regime.

As the president took to the stage the crowd chanted “resignation” and “shame on you”.
