Two people have been killed and four more wounded in a mass shooting in Miami, a fire department spokesman has told local media.
Five people were initially driven to a local hospital, but one died of wounds sustained in the incident on the journey. The other injuries are reported to range from minor to critical.
Miami Fire Rescue Lt. Ignatius Carroll told reporters a large crowd was at the scene when rescue units arrived. Speaking to CBC he described an “emotional scene outside with family members crowding around.” There was no word on a motive for the shooting or any possible arrests.
