Twenty-two migrants have drowned after a yacht overturned off the Greek island of Samos.

The tragic incident happened on Monday morning.

According to Greek Coast Guard, several people suffering from hypothermia Have been transferred to nearby hospitals.

Around 40 migrants were travelling with the vessel.
