Ukrainian citizens have been setting their eyes on Viktor Yanukovich’s presidential palace for the first time, a compound that contains opulent sights ranging from a zoo and golf course to a collection of expensive cars and a toilet fit for an Egyptian Pharaoh.
Members of an opposition group known as the 31st Hundred, masked and armed with clubs, control the entrances to the compound on the outskirts of Kyiv, content to allow members of the public to stroll around the grounds and peruse the trappings of wealth and power far beyond their own means.
