‘It’s your fault’: satirical anti-rape campaign goes viral

A satirical video campaign against sexual assaults in India has been making an impact on YouTube. The short video entitled “It’s your fault” has been viewed close to 3 million times in less than two months.

The clip stars Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin and TV presenter Juhi Pandey and was created by the comic team that presents the weekly sketch show AIB 365.

The All India Bakchod (AIB) is made up of the well-known stand-up comedians and writers: Tanmay Bhat, Gursimran Khamba, Rohan Joshi and Ashish Shakya.

According to the creators the video is a response to “stupid and hateful remarks against women inspired after every sexual assault in India”.
