UBS gets wealthy client boost

Refocusing on wealth management seems to have had a positive effect on UBS, the biggest Swiss bank.

In the first quarter its core division regained the confidence of rich clients, attracting more new money than expected and profits in private banking soared by 24 percent in contrast to disappointing global net earnings, which were down by more than half.
