Australia's Matt Wilkinson wins Outerknown Fiji Pro World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour

Australia’s Matt Wilkinson has won the Outerknown Fiji Pro World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour event after an action-packed final.

Wilkinson’s win comes after a hard-fought battle against his compatriot Connor O’Leary.

The victory sees rookie O’Leary move up the leaderboard from 15th to 7th.

The finals saw the world’s best surfers battle in pumping waves at Cloudbreak in Fiji.
