Wolfsburg’s fairytale run in their debut Champions League campaign ended in stunning success after they beat tournament favourites Lyon in the final at Stamford Bridge. Martina Muller’s controversial second-half penalty handed the German side a one nil victory against the French two-times champions, who were making their fourth consecutive appearance in the final.
