The Russians had a golden day three at the World Fencing Championships in Leipzig Germany.

In the women’s epee individual gold medal match Tatiana Gudkova took on Poland’s Ewa Nelip.

In the men`s individual foil final the Russian Dmitry Zherebchenko drew swords against the Japanese fencer Toshiya Saito who had put out the world number one Italy’s Daniele Garozzo in semi.
