Britain’s Queen Elizabeth held a minute’s silence at her birthday military parade for the victims of the London tower block fire which police say may have killed up to 58 people.

This year in her birthday message the Queen said it was “difficult to escape a very sombre national mood” after numerous terror attacks and a fire in a tower block killed dozens of people.

The Queen who is 91, is the world’s longest reigning monarch and actually has two birthdays, April 21 the day she was born and the day the military parade is held.
