The eagerly anticipated do or die Champions trophy match between India and South Africa, two of the world’s top cricketing nations, delivered a damp squib with India totally dominating proceedings against a farcical South Africa.

South Africa batted first and hit a disappointing 191 in an innings that included three woeful run-outs.

India cruised to the total with the loss of just two wickets with skipper Virat Kohli 76 not out and Shikhar Dhawan 78.

India move on to meet Bangladesh in the semi-final.
