British high-jumper Germaine Mason has died at the age of 34.
The athlete, who was born in Jamaica, lost his life after losing control of his motorbike and crashing on the Caribbean island.

Mason won a silver medal at the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008.
Stars of British athletics, including Linford Christie, Denise Lewis and James Ellington have led tributes to him.

Jamaican prime minister Andrew Holness also offered his “sincere condolences to the entire sporting fraternity”.
