After thousands of AS Monaco supporters found themselves stranded in Dortmund following the postponement of their Champions League match, Twitter users came to the rescue.
Under the hashtag #bedforawayfans, residents of the German city offered their hospitality.
The match was moved to 18:45 CET tonight after a series of bombs hit the German team’s match ahead of the scheduled kickoff.
Thousands of Monaco fans had already made it to the stadium as the news of the attack emerged.
They broke out into chants of “Dortmund” as the situation began to become known.

Monaco has said it will offer travelling fans €80 to help share the burden of the extra night’s stay.
