Marcel Kittel continued his perfect start to the defence of his Dubai Tour title when he won a sprint finish for his second win from the opening two stages.

The day’s relatively flat 188-kilometre test between the Dubai International Marine Club and Ras Al Khaimah was animated by a five-man break that set off after some 20 kilometres.
The quintet managed to open up a four-minute gap over the bunch.
With 30 kilometres remaining the group had been whittled down to four and the gap was steadily decreasing.
10 kilometre from the line the break was over and the stage was set for a mass dash for top honours.
Kittel came through a congested sprint to take the win once again ahead of Dylan Groenewegen and stretch his overall lead to eight seconds on his Dutch rival.
