Woman charged over foiled Paris terror plot

French prosecutors have charged one of four women arrested over a foiled terror attack near Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.

The 29-year-old is accused of attempted murder and trying to carry out a terrorist act.

The three other women are still being questioned after a car containing gas cylinders was found in the French capital on Sunday.

Police say the alleged ISIL cell was plotting other ‘‘imminent and violent’‘ attacks.
