The celebration and festivities of Bastille Day ended in death and terror in the southern French city of Nice Thursday night. And as social media did and always does, it reacted with bewilderment, sympathy and tears.
On Twitter, the hashtags #PrayForNice and #JeSuisNice emerged nearly immediately after the terror act as people expressed the grief and solidarity.
