Paris St-Germain have appointed former Sevilla boss Unai Emery as the club’s new manager on a two-year deal.
The 44-year-old replaces Laurent Blanc. The former French international had been in charge since 2013, overseeing three of the team’s four consecutive Ligue 1 titles and winning additional silverware in the form of French and League Cups along the way.
Unai Emery, who started his managerial career in 2004, coached Valencia from 2008 to 2012 before taking over at Sevilla in 2013.
