After the deadlock in the negotiations between the greek government and the institutions, the greek government decided to request an emergency eurozone summit in order to secure the terms of July’s agreement.

According to a senior government source “there are some who are trying to undermine the negotiations in a very crucial moment” clearly meaning the IMF and its demands for additional contingency measures.

Tomorrow, on Wednesday the Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will have a telephone call with the European Council President Donald Tusk at 11.00 CET to officially submit his request
