The first leg stage of the Champions League semi-finals concludes on Wednesday when Atletico Madrid host Bayern Munich at the Vicente Calderon Stadium.

It’s the first time the two clubs have met competitively since Bayern denied the Spaniards the 1974 European Cup title.

Atleti have kept a clean sheet in 13 of their last 15 home Champions League games but will be without influential centre-back Diego Godin through injury.

Fernando Torres meanwhile is available again after a ban.

Five-times European winners Bayern, who are in the semis for the sixth time in seven years, are stop Atletico reaching a second champions League final in three seasons.

Defender Jerome Boatenghas recovered from a lengthy groin injury and has been named in the squad by coach Pep Guardiola.

Holger Badstuber is also out with an ankle injury while Arjen Robben remains unavailable with a groin problem.
