The Trentino is seen as a form guide ahead of the first grand tour of the season, the Giro d’Italia, which begins on May 6.
Once again Astana’s Tanel Kangert finished first his second win in a row, but Landa’s gutsy third place just enough for overall victory by an agonising two seconds.
