Jürgen Klopp takes his new Liverpool side to his old stomping ground Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-final of the Europa League.
The match is being billed as the ‘Jürgen Klopp derby’.
Klopp who spent seven years at Dortmund, one of the most passionate football cities in Germany, is taking everything in his stride: “That is sport. We love it because of this. We always played it, at the beginning of our lives, we always played it against our best friends, always wanted to beat them. That is how it was. And so it is absolutely no problem. And I don’t think about my situation, not one second.”

His opposite number Thomas Tuchel is
also in a new job and is well aware of the popularity of Klopp, but Dortmund have the edge in this tie.
In his first term as Dortmund coach his side are currently second in the Bundesliga, five points behind Bayern and the only team able to catch the Bavarians.
