England wobble against brave Afghanistan in the T20 Cricket World Cup

As England’s T20 captain Eoin Morgan fell to a golden duck in England’s World Cup match against Afghanistan in Delhi a humiliation was on the cards.

With England at 50 for 5 Afghanistan were begining to dream, until Moeen Ali and David Willey rescued England with 25 in a devastating penultimate over to post a total of 142.

Afghanistan were still in the match, but the wicket of the destructive Mohammad Shahzad in the first over gave England hope and deflated this brave Afghanistan side.

In the end England breathed a huge sigh of relief and eventually cruised to a 15 run victory.
