The Israeli Air Force has attacked a Hamas training camp in the Gaza Strip in response to three rockets fired from the coastal enclave at Israel earlier in the day.

Only one reached Israeli territory and there were no reports of injuries. A small jihadist Salafi group named “The Grandsons of the Companions of the Prophet” claimed responsibility for the attack.

Four people were wounded in the subsequent Israeli air strike, among them two police officers.

Israel blames Hamas for any attacks emanating from the Gaza Strip.
