Belgium’s Ineke van Schoor, Julie van Gelder and 15 year-old Kaat Dumarey claimed their nation’s first gold medal of the Baku games with a flawless performance in the women’s Acrobatic Gymnastics event on Friday.

It was Belgium’s second success after Si Mohamed Ketbi completed the podium in Taekwondo on Tuesday.

Italy’s Petra Zublasing produced a stunning performance to clinch the women’s 50 metre rifle three-position discipline.

The 25-year-old outclassed Laurence Brize of France with a record finals total of 464.7, 1.3 better than the previous mark set last month by Chang Jing of China.
