Russia completed a clean sweep of the Synchronised Swimming medals at the inaugural European Games in Baku Azerbaijan.

Anisiya Neborako delivered an inspired performance to win gold in the solo free routine competition.

Russia also won the Duet, Team and free combination making it an impressive four out of four, while Neborako walks away from Baku with three golds from the pool.

The Canoe sprint event came to a close on Tuesday and Hungary ended their campaign on the Kur river with gold in the men’s K4 1000 metres.

Russia took silver and Czech Republic bronze.

Hungary left the water with 5 canoe sprint golds from 15 on offer.

Vitali Bubnovich fired his way to gold in the men’s 10-metre air rifle final.

The Belarusian beat Italy’s Niccolo Campriani into the silver medal position.

Israel’s Sergey Richter claimed the bronze medal.
