Barcelona made it through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League after beating Manchester City 1-0 in their last-16 second leg clash at the Camp Nou on Wednesday.

Ivan Rakitic scored in the first half and goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen saved a Sergio Aguero penalty with ten minutes remaining as the Blaugranas held on.

Elsewhere, Italian giants Juventus also progressed after thumping Dortmund 3-0 at Signal Iduna Park.

Former Manchester United forward Carlos Tevez scored a brace of goals and turned provider for Álvaro Morata as Massimiliano Allegri’s men sealed an emphatic 5-1 aggregate win.
