After weeks of speculation, young Norwegian sensation Martin Odegaard seems set to sign for Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The 16-year-old, who had been linked with a number of big clubs this season, including Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Manchester United, became the youngest player to feature in the European Championship last year after coming on as a substitute in Norway’s win against Bulgaria at the age of 15.
According to reports, Odegaard’s father and agent, Hans Erik, has been offered a job at the Spanish club and his son will continue his development in the B team until the summer.
