The 13th edition of the Amazon Raid came to a close over the weekend following five days of competition in Cambodia.

After foot races, kayaking adventures, a series of mountain bike races, and a treasure hunt through the ancient Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm temples the exclusively all-female raid was won by French team Les Raideuses de Levallois.

Euronews’ Serge Rombi was in Cambodia for the event and concluded: “It’s the end of the road for the 84 teams participating in the Amazon Raid in Cambodia. See you next year for the next edition although as yet we don’t know where that will be.”
