Former French politician Jack Lang is president of the Arab World Institute in Paris and previously served as Minister of Culture and Minister of Education for France.

In this interview our reporter Maha Barada meets Lang at the World Innovation Summit for Education. They discuss creativity and innovation in the context of education, the importance of art and culture and the restrictions of the centralised and competitive French system. They elaborate on the role of the Arab World Institute in promoting creativity and innovation in the Arab world and speak about the positive changes currently under way.
