Police in Manchester, England, arrest a man for making a hoax bomb threat on a plane bound for the airport. Qatar Airways Airbus A330 from Doha to Manchester was escorted by fighter jets after air crew received a threat about a possible device on board the plane.

Israel and Hamas have agreed to hold their fire for three days, under the terms of an Egyptian-brokered truce.
It follows an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The truce is set to last for three days.

Amnesty International has accused the Nigerian army of attrocities in the north west area of the country. It says serious human rights violations are taking place as the fight against Boko Haram and other armed groups intensifies. You can see the video on the live site below.
