Video. Flooding and destruction as Hurricane Polo hits Mexico

Hurricane Polo has caused flooding and damage in parts of Mexico, with aerial footage showing inundated streets and ground images showing damaged roofs, fallen branches and residents clearing debris.

Flooding and damage have been reported in parts of Mexico after Hurricane Polo made landfall as a Category 3 storm.

Aerial footage shows streets submerged under water, while ground images show residents clearing fallen branches and debris from their properties.

Several buildings were also damaged, including roofs that collapsed under the impact of the storm.

Polo is the latest major storm to hit Mexico during an active hurricane season, with the storm bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds to affected areas.
