Protesters gathered outside the United Nations in New York on Thursday as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu prepared to address the General Assembly.

Demonstrators chanted and held signs opposing Netanyahu’s presence at the UN and calling for an end to US military support for Israel.
Inside the General Assembly, dozens of delegates walked out as Netanyahu began his speech. Netanyahu used his address to criticise Israel’s opponents and allies, including Britain and France.
