Rescue teams are searching for survivors and missing residents in Afghanistan's eastern Nuristan province after deadly flooding swept through the area.

Emergency crews are using heavy machinery and hand tools to look for people believed to be trapped beneath mud and boulders.
Afghan officials said at least 20 people have been killed and more than 100 remain missing.
Authorities warned that further rain and storms are expected across several provinces and urged residents to stay away from riverbanks and other flood-prone areas.
