An antique salon has opened in Moscow, where more than 250 exhibitors are presenting a collection of rare artworks with an eastern-inspired theme.
Organisers asked each stand to display at least one piece connected to the East, reflecting long-standing artistic interest in the region.
The event features works from various periods, including museum-quality pieces that organisers say would fit in major institutions such as the Hermitage or the Tretyakov Gallery. Interior design displays are also part of the programme.
