Hawaii’s Kilauea Volcano erupted again on 25 November, releasing a column of lava from its crater, according to the US Geological Survey.
The eruption began at 14:30 local time, with fountains reaching around 120 metres and lighting up the surrounding area.
An orange aviation alert remained in effect due to the elevated volcanic activity.
The episode follows smaller spatter events recorded since 21 November and marks the volcano’s 37th eruption phase since December 2024.
