The Mwea national reserve is now overpopulated, with 156 elephants instead of 50.

Kenya has decided to relocate 50 elephants to Aberdare National Park, which offers greater accommodation capacity.

A team of over 100 specialists used trucks, helicopters and planes to transport the animals safely and preserve their family units.

Kenya's national parks and reserves are home to a variety of wildlife species that attract millions of visitors every year, making the country a mecca for tourists.
