Dozens of sailors were congratulated by the president, as they stood on the decks of their ships.
A total of 30 ships of various classes will join the Russian Navy in 2023, Putin said in his speech at the navy parade.
“Among the ships which entered combat duty is the Merkury missile corvette,” he added, thanking navy personnel for "their devotion".
